"I felt as though I were actually watching and listening to Teddy Roosevelt. I was thinking ...
THIS IS TEDDY!"
Betty Martin, Medicalodge, Coffeyville KS
"For a number of years, Fort Buford State Historic Site has contracted with Arch for his portrayals of historic individuals. We plan to seek his services as long as he agrees to perform. We contract with Arch for two primary reasons.
The first is his historical accuracy.
He knows that accurate historical portrayal goes far beyond wearing the proper clothes and knowing the history - he must be able to be that person in movement, talk, gesture and feeling.
Doubtlessly, there are numerous scholars who can conduct the research. Additionally, there are numerous actors who, if handed a proper script, could portray a historical figure. However, the combination of superior research and excellent acting skills is rare indeed - Arch possesses that unique combination."

We were very pleased to bring Teddy Roosevelt back to Yankton. Your performance was unbelievably real - I'm sure there were those who thought "TR" actually had returned!"

"Through your gift of first person narrative, you brought President Roosevelt to life for park visitors and showed how he established a 'conservation legacy'. Many people commented on your remarkable job of portraying Roosevelt and said they were delighted to have attended your event. We feel fortunate to have enjoyed your performance for one memorable evening at the Missouri headwaters."
